Sunshine’s Birthday

By Liz

Here are a few highlights from the party.  I took the pics of Sunshine alone and with her cousin and I have to say, I think they are amazing shots (not to brag).  I just love the colors.

Things here are…mixed up.  Good with baby and that part of my life but very, very tough and not good in many other aspects and it is causing me a lot of heartache and anxt and as much as I want to sort through it here, I just can’t.  For one, I don’t have the time and I also just can’t seem to put any of it into words.  We are all fine, nothing is wrong with anyone physically, there is just a lot of shit, a lot of anger and as I watch my family be torn apart again, I can only laugh at the insanity of it all.  If Jen were here, she would be appalled.  And for now,  I’ll leave it at that.

I don’t know what the “insanity” is of which you speak but I totally agree that the shots of Sunshine and that smile of hers is megawatt gorgeous. You (and perhaps your hubbie) have one cute little girl. One who will grown up with such love, a little dog hair, and a zest in her spirit. Your spirit and the strength of your voice comes through in this blog. The reason I read through EVERY post the first night I saw it is because of the power you capture in your expression. Your pain of Jen’s illness, losing her, coming to terms with her loss, your joy with Sunshine. You are talented with words…and you might not feel like delving into putting it on these pages but I hope you find all the support and love you need with that circle of folks (and furries) that surround you.

Oh Wow! those pictures really *are* amazing. What a total cutie :-)

But, I see from her totally munchable cheeks and chubby legs and toes that she’s just a bit undernouished, yes? Must not have consumed quite enough cupcakes at party. Did you eat them all?? ;-)

She’s adorable, Jen, and it’s great to see your own genuinely glowing smile as well.

    Blessings on you both!

I can’t even begin to imagine how wrenching the rest of the “stuff” must be for you. What a thing to be caught in the whirlwind of everyone else’s issues while trying to deal with your own.

Thank goodness for the necessary diversion of your Sweet Sunshine!

Ack! I called you Jen!!! I’m so sorry. The names are intertwined in my head from reading here for so long. Please feel free to delete this comment and edit the other one — or ban me forever from commenting at all :-(
